In 2016, the journey of today's Ozean GROUP began with a small team of employees purchasing and leasing existing properties. For this purpose, Ozean Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG, Ozean Properties GmbH, and Ozean Estate GmbH were established, which currently own five properties that are rented to third parties and managed within the group.
In 2018, the management established a second foothold in the area of project development. With the founding of Ozean Horizont Projektentwicklungs GmbH & Co. KG, specializing in the development of residential and commercial properties, they took the first step. Due to the rapid success and high demand in the market, the management decided to expand the project development area with two more companies. Today, Ozean Horizont Projektentwicklungs GmbH & Co. KG, Ozean Immobilien Projektentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG, and RG Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG plan and realize residential and commercial properties with passion. Currently, nine projects are in development. All existing properties of the group and new buildings are marketed and managed by Ozean Immobilien Management GmbH & Co. KG.
In 2019, the management decided to establish its own building materials trade in order to be even more independent in the market and to minimize bottlenecks in the building materials sector. Since then, Ozean Baustoffe GmbH & Co. KG has been supplying its own projects and soon also private individuals and companies outside the group. These companies form a mutually supportive group in a family environment. The merger enables the Ozean GROUP to quickly respond to market changes in order to meet customer requirements despite economic changes. The group's employees are responsible for strong growth through extensive know-how, many years of experience, and a willingness to innovate. All areas of the group work goal-oriented and strive consistently for the optimal solution.
In January 2022, the next expansion of the Ozean Group followed with the acquisition of the Frankfurt-based engineering firm M. Ekiz, which is part of the Ozean family as Ozean Horizont Objektplanung. Through the merger, the group of companies creates a further foothold in the construction sector, which allows the group to act even more independently and independent of the market. With its 20 years of experience, the Frankfurt-based team is a specialist in the strategic planning of real estate, whether it involves new commercial buildings such as multi-purpose halls and warehouses or partial extensions as well as changes of use of office and residential space. The acquisition of Ingenieurbüro Glatt from Bad Kissingen in November 2022 further expanded the company's expertise in the field of property planning. The team has been specializing in structural analysis and structural design since 1984 and, with many years of experience, has always been in charge of major construction projects for commercial and public bodies. The focus is on the planning and realization of building constructions and thus on all incidental, preparatory and testing work steps in the areas of: New construction, conversion and refurbishment.
Ozean Horizont Objektplanung is authorized to submit building documents and to verify structural stability as well as thermal insulation and soundproofing. Thus the teams serve the entire spectrum in the area of object planning with regard to architectural and engineering services.
